This course is reserved for District Alternative Certification Program Participants. This course has both in person and live virtual meetings. Please plan to be IN PERSON on all scheduled dates (Saturdays or evenings). The trainer will inform you of any virutal sessions during the first class.
This course focuses on the the domains of the District's Framework for Effective Teaching, a comprehensive system of educational research which addresses effective teaching, and how they can be demonstrated by the FEAPs. In the course, participants examine research and practice skills in planning, management of student conduct, lesson organization and development, knowledge of subject matter, verbal and nonverbal communication and student assessment. Teachers discuss research-based effective teaching behaviors and how those lead to increased classroom success.
