This SELF-PACED session provides participants with principles of adult learning, along with Canvas course design, and how they can be used to develop engaging professional learning. Additionally, participants will learn how to differentiate design between live or self-paced training and best practices for deploying courses to the appropriate audience.

This session requires prior knowledge of how to navigate Canvas, as well as basic understanding of how to create pages, assignments, discussions, etc.

Note: Upon registration confirmation in PDS, you will be automatically enrolled in the self-paced course in Canvas, and the course will appear on the Canvas Dashboard. If PDS registration is confirmed prior to the posted training start date, the Canvas course will not appear until then.
