Course Description More Details
| National Research indicates major differences in emergent language and literacy skills in children entering Kindergarten, which often continue into the primary grades. This module provides Early Childhood Instructors with evidence-based strategies and practices aligned to the IES guides to promote core aspects of emergent literacy, including phonological awareness. Included in this online learning module will be a focus on delivery of explicit, systematic Instruction, aligned with standards and using a multisensory approach to engage all learners. This is module 2/4. You must have taken Module 1 (Print Knowledge) as a prerequisite to this course. This course is a prerequisite to module 3. |
