| National Research indicateds major differences in emergent language and literacy skills in children entering Kindergarten, which often continue into the primary grades. This module provides Early Childhood Instructors with evidence-based strategies and practices aligned to the IES practice guides to promote core aspects of emergent literacy, including Print Knowledge. Included in this online learning module will be a focus on delivery of explicit, systematic instructional strategies, aligned with standards and benchmarks, using multisensory approach to support all learners. This is Module 1 of 4, and must be completed as a pre-requisite to module 2 of 4. |
