Former PE teacher and Gopher rep Allicia Ebert modeled net-games pedagogy with dynamic warm-ups, a partner memory mixer, and inclusive routines (friendship circle, high-five greetings) to build readiness and community. The group moved through a clear progression: equipment-free floorball under the net ? paddle-control drills ? pickleball fundamentals (underhand serve, double-bounce) with frequent court rotations to vary opponents. The session finished with modified four-square and small-sided pickleball using constraints and rally scoring to spotlight placement, control, and court awareness, and it closed with intentional peer feedback.
