Strangers Assume My Girlfriend is My Nurse is a self-paced Canvas course based off of Shane Burcaw’s 2021 book. It is "an essay collection about living a full life in a body that many people perceive as a tragedy." Each chapter will be accompanied with supplemental videos, resources, and reflection questions. The paperback version of the required book is currently available at amazon.com for around $11. Participants will be awarded 12 professional development points under the students with disabilities category upon completion.
