INTERACTIVE BOOK - ASSIGNED READING REQUIRED Participants will discuss and explore the book Brain Friendly Strategies for the Inclusion Classroom. In this book, neurologist and classroom teacher Judy Willis explains that we can best help students by putting in place strategies, accommodations, and interventions that provide developmentally and academically appropriate challenges to suit the needs, gifts, and goals of each student. A link to the online book is provided in the confirmation email upon registration. This book study includes participation in 3, 2-hour Teams sessions based on assigned reading. Participants will earn 12 SWD inservice credits for successful completion of this course. FREE ACCESS TO THIS BOOK CAN BE FOUND IN THE HCPS EDUCATOR VIRTUAL LIBRARY
