*K-5 Music Leadership Symposium* is a collaborative professional development opportunity designed for members of the Elementary Music Leadership Team. This symposium will focus on strategic planning and organization to enhance music education across the district. Participants will engage in structured discussions and hands-on planning sessions to:
 
Develop and coordinate professional development opportunities for elementary music teachers.
Organize the annual Professional Study Day, ensuring relevant and impactful sessions for educators.
Establish committees dedicated to various district-wide music performance events.
Define committee roles and responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of events.
 
Through this symposium, leadership team members will gain valuable skills in event planning, professional development design, and collaborative leadership. The goal is to strengthen the support network for elementary music educators while fostering high-quality music education experiences for students.
