The HCPS IB Symposium is a professional development event designed to allow IB teachers and coordinators to collaborate, discuss challenges, and share best practices in IB DP/MYP/PYP courses. This face-to-face event brings together teachers and coordinators from around the district for one day and there will be a continued focus on IB DP/MYP/PYP Curriculcum (including but not limited to Approaches to Teaching and Learning, Learner Profile). Teachers in attendance will discover ways to implement instructional strategies/planning, increase IB access and readiness for more students, and to learn about IB program resources. Coordinators will discover ways to implement strategies to support teahcers and students.
