Course Description More Details
Participants will engage in learning around the purpose, benefit, structure options, and instructional design of small group practice and instruction which supports the science of reading. Participants will learn how to make data-based decisions to drive instruction in small groups that involves multiple data points, appropriate practice, and text choice and application. Participants will have the opportunity to practice using data to create a week’s worth of small group plans. *Third grade teachers who are following the second grade frameworks, including UFLI, are invited to this training.
