Course Description More Details
Participants will increase their awareness of varying traumas and the effect traumas have on students, and they will enhance their understanding of the school’s role in creating a trauma-sensitive school. Participants will expand the resources available for staff who help students who have experienced trauma. This will include an emphasis on de-escalation techniques, positive behavior strategies, building relationships, and self-care/preservation.
