ENROLLMENT BY INVITATION ONLY - This 15-week, 60-hour online course is to provide teachers of adult ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) students, with professional development focused on andragogy (the teaching of adults) and TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) theory and methodology. For an hour each week (15 hours total) participants will meet virtually to take time to get to know each other, share life and teaching experiences, discuss learning and desired accomplishments while collectively building a community of teaching practice. Participants will receive a stipend for 15 hours. By the end of the course, participants will have developed a more reflective and informed practice of how to support oneself, peers, and adult ESOL students.
