Culturally Proficient Leadership provides administrators with the ability to understand and respect students' cultural dignity which is a crucial component of developing high-performing schools. Culturally Proficient Leadership provides a step-by-step approach for educators to reflect on their underlying beliefs, assumptions, and backgrounds. Principals and Assistant Principals will embark on a journey of self discovery, and essential skills for communicating and collaborating across cultures. Follow Up Activity: The participant will select an area of cultural growth and develop an action plan based on what they want to learn and what they want to achieve. The facilitators will follow-up with each participant to monitor their progress and document learnings.
