 More Details

This course is required for all educators who want to host an intern in Hillsborough County Public Schools. Successful completion of this course meets one of the eligibility requirements for hosting a final intern. Additional eligibility requirements for hosting a final intern in HCPS are as follows: 1) Clinical Educator Certification 2) At least three years of teaching experience in the district at a highly effective level 3) Principal Recommendation. The course is comprised of 3 hours virtual meeting (Teams or Zoom) with 15 hours of independent, research-based activities to be completed before in-service points are awarded. All clinical placements are made through Human Resources, Clinical Team: Sara Kay Bonti, Christie Gold, Elora Spoto.
